Hi! I’m Cat

I introduce women to a cleaner way of eating and living.

Healthy doesn’t have to be hard when you have the tools and solutions provided for you.
I hope to help you with that.

At just 26 years old, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

I was in my mid-twenties, barely functioning and super confused. Nurses and Doctors couldn't give me an answer and it was difficult finding answers on the Internet then. There weren’t bloggers, paleo wasn’t a thing, and nobody was talking about leaky gut, probiotics, and gluten free. The only thing I found was a rheumatologist ( covered by my insurance ) so I made an appointment and went. He told me if I didn’t start “these'“ drugs immediately, I wouldn’t be able to walk in 6 months. Wow, not the answer I was hoping for.

I wanted an answer to what was going on. Not a drug.

But, even with a lot of hesitation, I ordered my prescriptions and learned how to self inject myself with Methotrexate. I was also put on Prednisone and Vioxx.
I remember the day my big box of medication and needles came. I thought to myself, this is crazy and I have to find a better way.

That’s where my journey to real health began.

I learned that food could truly be my medicine! And stress had to be maintained. Over the next 10 years, I learned so much about health, food, and personal care products. I went to personal development seminars, read books—lots of books—visited holistic and naturopathic doctors, scoured websites, listened to podcasts, visited with nutritionists and personal trainers, and so much more.

After my middle daughter got sick and was “failing to thrive”, I went down the rabbit hole again, but this time, even further trying to research for her.

Upon my research, I found a website on how to become a health coach. I became a Certified Holistic Health Coach within a year and learned a lot of solutions for myself and my family.

Health—and disease—are created and sustained by the choices we make every single day. We have to design a healthy lifestyle we love if we want to feel (and BE) our absolute best selves.

But that’s not always easy when you are trying to figure it all out for yourself and busy with life’s demands. That’s why I’m here and why I created this blog. To hopefully provide you with easy, sustainable solutions that you can incorporate into your life. Our habits can be hard to change if they are too overwhelming, hard, or not rewarding.
I want to make healthy easy and fun for you.

Let’s get going...

XO, Cat
